S-1000 Series Voltage Detector with Ultra-low current consumption of 350nA typ.

Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) releases the S-1000 Series voltage detector. SII has the No.1 share globally of the CMOS voltage detector market Note, and is continually pursuing lower current consumption and higher accuracy to achieve the required next-generation performance. Using the precision miniaturization technology expertise refined over years of watchmaking, SII has employed state-of-the-art original technology to develop this new voltage detector. The S-1000 demonstrates SII’s pride as an industry leader.

Note SII’s own market research.

Features
•Ultra-low current consumption of 350 nA
•Precise detection voltage accuracy of ±1.0%

Ultra-low current consumption of 350 nA
The S-1000 achieves an ultra-low current consumption of 350 nA (typ.) due to a new fine process technology and optimized circuit design, while maintaining a response speed equivalent to that of the S-808xxC. This key feature of the S-1000 contributes to a longer battery life of end products.

Precise detection voltage accuracy of ±1.0%
The ±1.0% detection voltage accuracy achieved by the S-1000 enables highly accurate detection of the battery (power supply) voltage. The S-1000 facilitates power supply circuit design and allows for extended operation.
