China’s Sichuan Province Earthquake and Myanmar Cyclone Relief Donations

Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII, President: Masafumi Shimbo, Head Office: 1-8, Nakase, Mihama-ku, Chiba-shi, Chiba, TEL: (+81) 43-211-1111) and the SII Group companies in China will make a donation of 660,000 yuan (approximately 10 million yen) in total. The donations will be made by each company through their regional administrative districts to provide relief for the people affected by the severe earthquake which struck Sichuan Province on May 12.

SII also will make a donation of 1 million yen, through the Japan Red Cross Society, for all those impacted by the cyclone which hit Myanmar on May 2.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by these disasters and hope that the regions will soon be able begin the rebuilding and healing process.
