SII Semiconductor Corporation (SII Semiconductor), a subsidiary of Seiko Instruments Inc. (SII) that manufactures and sells semiconductors, has been changed to an equity-method affiliate as of January 5, 2018 upon completion of partial transfer of shares of SII to Development Bank of Japan Inc. (DBJ). As a result, the shareholding ratio of DBJ and SII became 70% and 30%, respectively.
