SII NanoTechnology Inc. established its Chinese subsidiary “SII NanoTechnology (Shanghai) Inc.” on November 1, 2004. The new subsidiary will operate as the China business hub engaging in development, manufacturing, sales and after-sales service of SII NanoTechnology’s analysis and measurement instruments. By this formation, SII NanoTechnology has established a full function business operation in China, ranging from development to manufacturing, sales and after-sales service.
China is experiencing rapid economic growth, and as a result there is expanding need for equipment to support nanotechnology research and development. In recent years especially, it is necessary to establish a close relationship with customers in order to provide solutions that meet their needs and to expand sales. This leads SII NanoTechnology to establish its new Chinese subsidiary.
SII NanoTechnology (Shanghai) Inc. headquarters and factory are located in Shangjiang Hi-Tech Park, Shanghai, where world’s leading Hi-Tech companies are based, with offices in Shanghai, Beijing and Dongguan. It will start business operations with thirty staff including ten Japanese employees. Starting with XRF analyzers and ICP-OES, SII NanoTechnology (Shanghai) Inc. will expand its production and sales to FIB Systems and Scanning Probe Microscopes to increase sales representing the SII NanoTechnology Group in China.
